Fecal examination was performed by the Kato-Katz method.

2000-2002: School children (n=29,846);

2002-2004: Inhabitants of 16 Provinces over 15 years of age (n=7,244);

2005: Nationwide survey on school children aged 6-11 years (n=11,770);

2007-2011: Inhabitants of 7 Provinces over 15 years of age (n=6,178).
